Maleehah was bred by Umm Qarn Farms in Qatar and raced with great
success in local bred races, winning fifteen of her seventeen starts.
In June 2008 she proved that she could win against the best in Europe
when she won her first Group 1 race in France. She became the
first Qatar bred horse to win a Group 1 race outside Qatar.
