2nd dam - Nerva du Cassou

1972 chestnut mare by Baroud III out of Nevadour, bred in France. She raced once as a 3 year old. She has proved to be an exceptional broodmare with some outstanding progeny who have gone on to prove themselves as race horses or as breeding stock. She traces back to all old French lines and then to old desert lines particularly through her sire Baroud III, sire of Cheri Bibi but particularly a sire of some outstanding broodmares including Jina de Cassou, Laida du Cassou, Praline du Cassou and Floralie. Nerva du Cassou was imported to UK in 1995.
