Djebbel won 11 races in France, UK and Qatar. He won over $500,000 in prize money and his wins include several of the most prestigious races for arab horses world-wide. His final year of racing before retiring to stud was exceptional with wins in the Prix du President UAE at Chantilly for the second year running and at the UK Dubai meeting where he won the Dubai International Stakes. Other notable wins include the Emir's Sword Race in Qatar on two occasions and the Qatar Derby. He was awarded the title 1998 Older Horse of the Year in France.

Djebbel has been used by breeders throughout Europe, USA and Middle East.
