Ex Umm Qarn Farm stallion Top Flyte maintains his 100% winners from runners record

Photo: Sofia Nordin

Top Flyte was sold to Mats Genberg of Genberg Performance Arabians in Sweden as a breeding stallion in 2003 with a record of 100% winners from runners. Sanovagan is Mats' first Top Flyte progeny to race.

"Sanovagans first "real" win!

Yesterday Sanovagan (4 yo c Top Flyte x Golmohar/Gokart) had his first
"real win" at Täby Galopp in Stockholm.
Sanovagan (the only 4YO in the race) was in front more or less the
entire race in this his third race. At the stretch he eased down when
he was some 5 lengths before 2nd horse (Shams Tore) to have a look at
the crowd and floodlights. The win was only by 1,5 lengths and then
another 9 down to third horse - veteran Exir,

Rider, Swedish jockey champion PA Gråberg, said that "it is so easy
for him. He just goes in front an stays just as much in front as he
has to. When it gets "lonely" he slows down, but he is still very green."

This was actually Sanovagan's 2nd time as "first at the wire". In his
first race he won by 2,5 lengths but was moved down to 2nd for
"interfering".

This now means that Sanovagan now makes sure his father (Top Flyte)
keeps his great breeding record with 100% winners from runners!"
